Why we do it.

Our goal is to community build and create space for Black people in St. Louis to access warm and welcoming health and wellness practices that center our identities and experiences.

We believe that the responsibility of the health and wellness of Black people in St. Louis is the responsibility of the collective.

We are all The Collective.

We see you. We value you. We honor you.

Just as you are instructed to put on your oxygen mask first before helping others on an airplane, we want you to prioritize yourself, your mental well-being, and your physical health. You come first.

We want you to have access to a space that enables you to put yourself first. We hope that through our practices, programs, and workshops, individuals become equipped with the tools and skills needed to utilize breathing and movement for healing.

We Do It For You.

Healing, peace, and happiness are contagious. As you navigate your journey, you will spread joy to those who are closest to you, often, unconsciously.

When you show up for yourself, you show up for those around you.

We Do It For Your Friends & Loved Ones.

β€œThe truth is, no one of us can be free until everybody is free.” - Maya Angelou

We want to ensure that all the people are well, that the people are surviving, that the people are dying, that the people feel safe in their bodies, that the people feel comfortable in their skin, and that the people can truly be themselves.

We Do It For The Collective.
